Thread: Conversion from 30fps to 25fps - Workflow

Hi all. I need some advice from the experts!

I have a client who has approx 12 hours of footage recorded on a 5D at 30fps. The audio (including some dialogue) was recorded separately. All the clips are un-slated.

My task is to edit this into a finished 20 minute video The edited result must be at 25fps.

Can someone describe the best workflow for converting the footage? Should I convert all the rushes and worry about the lip-synch later, or edit everything at 30fps? Or something else?

I'd just work with it as it is and then render it out as needed.
