Did some filming last week under fluorescent lighting, and whilst the feed monitor was okay when imported into FCPX a rolling band runs down the screen.
I looked for some filters to reduce this, and did find an FCP7 tutorial using the 3-way colour correction but this was overkill.
My footage was shot on a tripod with no camera movement, and only the centre of the image actually containing motion.
With the risk of a re-shoot in the air, I was in a pickle - but I thought of photoshop for inspiration.
So multiple layers, a single frame stretched over the timeline and a 4-point mask were the answer.
I created a tutorial which you can find below or on my channel and blog.
