Default final cut pro rendering MOVs wont open in sony vegas9

how do i open final cut pro rendered MOV's in Vegas Pro 0?
when i try to play them in quicktimepro7 ive got a blank screen and the audio works but no picture

Just a guess but it sounds like the .mov files are using a codec not supported by Vegas. If you rendered them using an Apple codec, for example.
