    I used to use Avid, but got the distinct impression that it was complex for the sake of being complex, Final Cut is smooth and easy to use, non-fussy interface which I don't have to take a million courses on how to use it properly.

    Though perversely, I still prefer PCs to Macs and if FCP was on a PC I'd probably go for it.

    I wish we never bought FCS. Is there really such a difference between that and Premiere.
    Except of course Premiere works seamlessly with AE. And FCS doesn't work with anything else properly at all. Especially BluRay which is a joke. I know that FC has all those nice apple res codecs. But how often are you going to be using 4:4:4 on a small system. Not often is my guess. If only Avid could get its act together.
