Default Getting Started

Hello Guys,

I am intrested in Learning Videography for weddings. I been shooting for long time but for personal use, and i believe i do have the pasion to do it. In My country there is videographer that i call professional.

I would like to know where should i start, what courses should i take? Should i start with video courses? or find a profesional videogropher in another country and learn from him?

Any advices?

Thank you

Look for a Still photographer or Videographer in your area and see if you can tag along on a few jobs, be honest with them about what your doing. Offering to shoot second camara for them cheap or free will help then in the future if you need a second or third they will be willing to help as well. Check out Elite Video they have a wedding videographers companion dvd that are pretty good. If you would rather rent check out smartflix.com they have a few more wedding dvds.

I agree with Wil. Tag along with another videographer or photographer for a few gigs. In
exchange for letting you tag along, give'em a copy of the footage.

I'd push to tag along during the prep stage. You get your best shots here (candid and fun)
and there really isn't any "pressure".
