Hi,
Has anybody bought a camcorder from an American website? Would camcorder be just the same as in the UK? Thanks in advance for any advice on buying a camcorder from an American website.

Bad idea. The TV format in the states is NTSC. We use PAL in the UK. Then there's the warranty issue and finally finding a retailer willing to ship outside their territory.

And don't forget the difference in mains voltage. No problem as long as the transformer is switchable but...
