err.. Ok, i'm sure it was 150 dollars for a floppy drive last night. It's 15 now anyway, which is still overpriced. and the dvd drive's still a damn ripoff.

Default Rip Off... ?

Do you know what dual Opteron means? Two processors… one machine. Also its 150 for a DVDR+RW. (I think these cost 400-800 bucks) Also it ONLY uses SATA (No IDE). Learn your hardware buddy... it’s a deal.

hahahaha, i just wet myself.

try 100 of your yank bucks, MAX for a dvd writer, and that's an 8x one, not a faffy 4x one. Considering you can get a 16x one for (checks XE.com) for 145 dollars (and we get screwed over here on stuff like that, so you're probably looking at not much over the hundred dollar mark) it's not all that much of a bargain.

I can't be arsed pricing a dual opteron system (yes, we have head of them here, but thanks for the attempt at patronising us...) but judging by the prices they're asking for something as cheap and easy to install as a dvd writer, logic suggests that the rest of the system is waaay overpriced.

I just checked, and i can't even FIND a 4x sony drive for sale, just the 8s ones, and they're £44.35/$80.86 so if you bought that system, you're as silly as you come across.

Learn my hardware indeed... I've probably been building computers longer than you've been tying your own shoelaces.

Default Budget RAM

A thousand dollars of the price difference mentioned above is due to the budget RAM you quoted. Top end Crucial memory is by far the best available www.crucial.com ! Then add a warranty. configuration and free shipping and you can’t go wrong. Please attempt to show me a site with better prices (for a complete machine). Building your own machine is entertaining and nice but I personally don’t have the time to configure and maintain my own machine while running my own business. Ill still stand by my purchase.
