Default Anyone recommend an engineer?

I have a Sony DHR1000 deck (mini- and full-size DV) which needs re-heading. I've been out of the game for a while - now looking to get my gear back up to scratch. Can anyone recommend a good person? I'm in NE England but can ship the unit.
Regards
StefG
