Default Advice: Video Editing Direct

Hello,

Has anyone used the http://www.videoediting-direct.co.uk/ website to purchase any equipment?

They're selling a Wacom Graphics Tablet for a fair bit less than other websites and delivery is included, I wondered if there was anything amiss?

Any info would be gratefully received.

Thanks.

I've never heard of these guys and it's rather odd that there's virtually no information whatsoever on the internet. You'd normally find a few reviews for almost any online retailer.

They appear to be owned by Matek Business Media Ltd, who are authorised dealers of Avid and Matrox products (amongst others). My initial reaction would be not to use them, but that's just a personal preference.

Thanks a lot, Marc. For the sake of a few quid I may well hold off.

I got as far as the order pages to see if they would add surprise VAT charges as sometimes happens, but they seemed to want me to use a "Protyx Credit Card Form" to transfer funds. Tried to find out about the Protyx form and couldn't turn up a great deal. It may be nothing to worry about, but I don't want to take the chance.

Thanks again.
