Default Can I have an opinion on this...

quick thing i did this morning with my lil brother. Forget abbout the actual scenes and acting, and lemme kno if I did a good enough job of capturing a like scary/mysterious vibe throughout it all.

Well the video fx and colour washin is what you could call scary mysterious and would work

But the actor is too young looking to be scary - partially shaving his head - part of an eyebrow and sticking his face into mud would give you a better looking psycho nutter kind of look but just too young for close up to be scary

Best cut is about 27 secs in thats good

The matrixy look comes out more amusing and funny than mysterious - and the shooting would maybe be better done in an old derelict building for the backdrops

Its too hard to capture that feel without paying attention to set and the subjects your filming - music is good for the feel

I dont think your bro will go for the headshavin idea though

I thought it was pretty good concedering it was a quick project. I would agree hes a bit to young to be scary. You should start a pole, "A" shave his head "B" shave his eyebrows or "C" both, I vote "C".....You might want to wait untill he falls a sleep though....
