Default Mr. Doh!

This is something my wife and I did tonight for fun. This is our first attempt and I know about the lighting situation, but we had fun doing it and it came out better than we first thought it would being our first attempt.

The file is 16 meg big. I tried to get it smaller without seriously affecting the quality of the video, but that is the smallest I could get it. Let us know what you think!

EDIT: Here is the new video with the corrections:

I left the first video in case some wanted to compare the old and the new!

Nice. Mr. Doh needs a tune, no sound here.

Thanks!

Yeah, my wife wanted to add music or something but I had no idea what music to put in it. I just wanted to mainly do it for the effects and it came out better than my wife and I thought it would for being our first time trying this.

I always made the cartoons where you flip the pages (like in a book) to make the cartoon or stick figure move when I was a kid. Tonight we wanted to try making a video effect of it using some Play Doh we bought.

It was funny. Good stop frame that was good. Intro was poor. It was way to long. You could of shortened that. And work on making your text look cool. Everyone does the solid color with a 1pt or 2pt stroke and it doesn't work "most" of the time. Try something more professional. And there was a few to many pictures in the middle before he dissambles. But the stop frame when he was going was good and like Mark said add some music. Like some happy lollipop music.

Thanks for your comments. I am still learning After Effects Pro 7 and still trying to make the "cool" stuff. Am working on the music and will update the video when I have something and change the stuff you mentioned to make it look better.

I am not ever going to get better unless I have people critique my work.

I used After Effects Pro 7.0 to do that.

I learned to do that from here:
http://www.videocopilot.net/tutorials.html
It is number 8.

It is a very cool effect!

I edited my first message also and put the new video up there and wanted to add it here too so people would be able to see it.

Here is the new video with the corrections:

I left the first video in my first post in case some wanted to compare the old and the new!

Let me know what you think of the new video.

Thanks!
