Sorry more questions

what editing software are you using for this and is there any special effects you are using to get the light balanced.

I have treid this in the past but allways seem to get a hard line were the 2 layers meet. Do you have any ideas how to get rid of this.

I use premier pro 1.5 and after efects 6 pro.

^^I would use a liner wipe in AE - put it at about 50% and feather the edges - that should get rid of the hard lines..

I never have linear wiped anything. I just add a blur to the edges of the mask. I set it to about 5. If the lighting isn't perfect try to play around with the color balance, and brightness contrast settings.

hey man i too am a real fan of ryan w's work... my favorite would have to be his technique for making lightsabers. nice effects, its nice to know someone else out there knows ryans work.
