I like the end where it dissolves. I noticed throughout the text skips a few frames which is not appealing. The thing about it though is the text looks really fake at the start. What I would do is fix the text maybe add a blur around it or make the text darker so it blends nicer. Then when it catches on fire make the fire engulf it more just so it adds that jolt then add a sound where flames make that "Whoof" noise. Then it would be cool. Other than that creative.

Thanks, I made another version incase the first was to dark, as far as the the "skipping" it apears that its only in the compressed version. Heres the other to compare.

The first was better, but needed the text to be a lighter colour as the ends were lost in the black.

How about bringing up the name complete so it can be read and then adding in the effect.

Did you use Bluff Titler?

I prefer the first one- too much red in the second, too fussy. I dont much go for the burning sound - personally I would have used a snatch of 'fanfare' type music.

I am curious if that background is of the Trojan Nuclear Implosion? If so, I live about 8 miles from that site!

Bluff Titler has some amazing abilities. You might try adding some dead time at the end (extend the film) and fade out to black, allowing better integration into your film. Here is a crude example:

Here is another neat little fade out into the background picture:

Yet another crude little short into done for fun and experimentation using some free direct x 3-de models downloaded from the net:

I like your intro, and instead of music, the explosion seems more apropos.

Chapman I still like the first one better. The picture takes away from it. Try making it smaller maybe the picture. Or do something like animate a picture then have it go into a still then have a name pop up. A few companies in hollywood do similar things like that. As for you Mako im not really into those intros. Your first one is the best because it is simple. It would be cool instead of having the first one just dissolve have it turn into ashes. Then smoke or wind blow it all away. Try that.
