Nice location, but, clock wipes?

Did you use the cam mic or some other?

Mike.

She has great delivery, Chris, and a newsreader’s pleasant demeanour.

Posing away from bright sun avoids squinting, but I think some extra light in her face would make a big difference. A reflector would help, but a diffuse light would be better. Like fill-in flash for stills photos, it brightens up the main subject. Just a thought – I still listened to her every word.

I am beginning to become hooked on this! I think I know more about what's going on in Felixstowe than I do in Co Down!

I think that the news items are excellent, particularly the interviews. The one last week with the local sailing club was good too.

Good luck!

Used the little clip-on that comes with VC - I've got a much better one, but keep neglecting to buy new battery for it! I agree about the diffused light, but didn't get around to bringing by sheet of white card down from the loft - only decided to do it in the garden just when she arrived!

I liked the clocks to make a change! I'll have time to go back to flashier transitions next week . . .

The empire grows !

Clock wipes.... ooo nasty. I suggest you get a decent lapel mike for your news reader, I got a nice sony one for 50 quid off e bay and it gives a great result. I think you might have included the prom pics in the report too, or are you after more fp traffic?

Great work.

I just got lazy with the wipes because I wanted to get done quick! Sound is my constant bugbear, I'm afraid - but I have now found someone who might be able to offer a bit of on-hand help with this, so should be able to get it sorted!

The prom pictures were also down to laziness - on the other computer, and I couldn't be bothered to transfer them!
