Thread: 1st Video - 'Looks Like Rain'... check it

Its kind of corny and doesn't make a whole lot of sense. The sound effects were off and I hope those voices weren't attempts at dubbing. Would be alot better if the sounds matched up. Take the fire for instance it was already lit then you had the burner go on. And the white balance in a couple of shots was way off.

yeah a bit gutted about the making sense bit. The story was totally lost during the production.

On the original video all the SFX are in-sync. The compression has seemed to have put the audio out. If anyone knows a way of compressing without loosing sync please tell. I compressed from 180Mb QT Movie to 10Mb 512k Streaming.mov
Yes it is dubbing (well the bit on the rug). Unfortunatley the audio was mucked up on shoot. Trying to get the two actors to dub when they couldn't remember what they said and find it a task to speak English was tough

For my 1st Assignment and first run with pro tools I'm happy with it. Cheers for the criticism though.

Yah I hate to criticize peoples work but that just didn't do it for me. Yah when they don't speak English very good. For having your sound quality better with the footage ummm make it higher quality or just move the sound over just a tad so when it comes out everything lines up. Like tricking the system.
