yeah it's a panasonic NV-DS33

it is obviously quite old, but is good for a bit of a laugh! I also have a Cannon XM1 which I use for more serious stuff.

...and yes we do play golf... it does wonders for your hangover!!

will try and apply the deinterlace filter today, and reload it onto the website for people to see more clearly.

Not as old as my DS 28 (or is it). I got for 100 qiud last year and have dropped it and abused it terribly and it still works fine. Pic is soft and lens poor but I like it cos it allows me to not care about the camera.

I think this one dates from around 1998 (though not 100% sure). the picture as you say aint great, there are very few adjustable features, it really is a point and shoot camcorder for the home user rather than a peice of photographic equipment really. got mine last year as well, Ebay is so great if you are prepared to wait around for bargains.

I just bought some coloured bulbs to try out a low level lighting experiment with my XM1 I have in the back of my mind. Results will be available in a couple of days with any luck.
