0 Videos nominated Video Of the Month(s): 0 | | Sithxace Video : I'm Hear To Spread Love
Hey Sithxace,
I'm new here, just wanted to say cool video! Dominick is one crazy, cool dancing fool. Love the in-store down the aisle bouncing handspring! Though he needs to work on his landings when he does flips off of high objects. Better yet, you ought to show the full scene of him flipping to the ground and then have him flip again while he is on the ground and edit the two together (kind of like how they do it in the big time movies) and cut from him flipping into the landing with none of his stumbling. Just an idea.
Ideas if you want some:
1. I'd like to see him trick dancing in a ring of fire. (Be EXTREMELY careful if you do it and make sure it has more than enough room to get his groove going without getting hurt.)
2. This one is where he flips into a pond or lake (AFTER he's completed one dancing shoot), but you as a video editor will play the clip of him flipping out of the water in reverse (so that he is all dry) and he walks away to go dancing.
Those are just some ideas, that music rocks also. Who is it and who is it by? I'd like to get my hands on that full song.
I do not have any video to show myself, I lost it all in a major crash laster year April. Sci-fi stuff (my using 'the force' picking up a light saber and turning it on and a sci-fi of me firing a lazer gun.) After I get my green screen (small one), I'll upload some test chroma key screens and video.
Keep up the great work.
Warren

Pretty awesome dancing! wow...
I'd like to see that first really filtered dancing shot in it's original form... or maybe i just want to see a normal shot of the breakdancing before we get all intense with filters. I'm lovin' filters.
Nicely done.

Dont get carried away with clever editng. I suggest you think how a particular effect wirks in the larger context of the piece. At present it looks a bit random.
Also perhaps the most important thing is the quality of the shot footage. Take a few more risks with the shooting maybe, get right in close to the action. Maybe also cut tighter to the music.
You clearly know your way around an editor but maybe you need to step back from the editing and compose the structure of the video more. Looks like you have some good skills and great footage.
