Does anyone know if Canon will come out with Gl-3

I am plan to buy the Canon GL-2 due to the $250 rebate, is this mean that they are plan to come out HDV- GL-3? I found that Sony has a HDV for under 3000. I prefer Canon camcorder over Sony. any idea folk.

FYI, I just found this site. Mediamungo.com, they offer 10GB free multimedia hosting..
