I'm just happy to see people that realalize that Christmas is about the incarnation of our
loving God, and not about a reindeer with a red nose...

Merry Christmas

Silly -- Xmas is a celebration of the consumer ethic and perhaps also inspired by a human desire to mark midwinter, this was the most important date in the Pagan calender and probably has much more to do with our annual orgy of consumption than Coca-Cola's father Xmas or some homeless couple with a baby , it really is a shame the whole thing has been hijacked by religous fundamentalists with a phobia about red nosed mammels, perhaps...

Here is a siily Xmas films I did. No keying as was done on a whim and had to make do with some dodgy masking.

Came out very nice. I see the animals were quickly wisked away at the end for Xmas dinner.

What did you use for the blue screen? I'm waiting for my son to be of a "controlable age" so I can do fun skits with a blue screen (if that age every appears!).

I have a bunch of outdoor lights from home depot I bought cheaply and use them once in a while on the subject on a black velvet back drop I have., though they are not pure white. What type of lights did you use?

Default Thanks

Welll the show went on tonight without a hitch. The Video was shown on a 7x10 screen, with a wood frame around it and hay in front of it. It worked perfect.

I used blue material from Walmart, and the lighting was 500W work lights on a tripod from Sears..
The lights were very harsh so I had to tone them down a bit. I used a program called ULTRA Key.

Now, I have to put the toys away and find a new job, I worked with 401(K) Retirement plans for 3 yrs and goy laied off this past week Great Christmas Gift. Well,
Thank You all for you kind words.

Default great video I tried VC

Hi,

I use visual communicator and I found that the most difficult part of chromakeying is the lighting. I had to buy two continuous lights and black the window out. I think ULTRA is the next step up. Really good fun and great for making videos for websites.

Bye
