Default What I did on Saturday...

Last Saturday's wedding: http://www.bride-and-groom.co.uk/ind...?categoryid=18

Persuaded me that a civil service doesn't have to be dull. Beautiful location, charming bride, and a bride's maid with the cutest smile.

Very nice!

You must have been running around like a lunatic to get all the shots (did you film the whole lot?)

How do you get the steady(ish!) moving shots?

Glidecam. I'm out of practice.

Yes, I shot eveything myself except for a second cam during the ceremony and speeches. And yes, I ran around like a lunatic.

Good stuff Marc. I bet you could have kicked the stupid tart on the bike after she invaded your shot though.

Strange thing though, I hated the music to begin with but rather liked it by the end. Weird.

Did you ask the bridesmaid out?

Firstly, the last time I spoke with Marc he was contemplating stopping doing wedding videos. Now, my question to everyone is... do you really believe that someone producing this quality of work should give it up? I say no!

But onto the subject of the tart on the bike at the end. Marc, how about avoiding the last four or five seconds of the 'back end of the bus' and finish with a zoom in (digital maybe) on the bus headlight as it pulls out as the picture fades out to white. The digital zoom won't notice when combined with the fade and no tart on a bike in the way. Just an idea.

Thank you for the kind words. As all of you know, I'm not always confident in my own abilities when it comes to video.

I'm definately not taking bookings for next year. I need to concentrate on other personal projects and ambitions. But I'm not ruling out a return!
