Looks pretty good, Luke.. but I think when you resized to 320x240, it introduced some rather nasty interlace effects. If your camera is PAL, it would be better to resize to 384x288. That will eliminate any interlace effects.

Hey Luke...
You missed out there a little. You should have put some ooohhs and ahhhs from the crowd. Some reaction shots would really have helped it along.

I've never used Premier, so I don't know the controls. It should be in the menu that lets you make the .wmv output file. Somewhere in it there should be a dialog for setting the size.
It's no good trying to resize your existing 320x240 .wmv file - what artifacts are in it, stay in it. You'll have to use your 720x576 PAL original video file.

Funny....I though it was ok Luke, as I've just suffered 40 odd seconds of boy-racers driving Subarus, filmed in a shaky wing mirror!
Horses for courses I guess

What you need Luke is subject material.
Fireworks might be very interesting to watch when you are there, but it doesn't translate to film.
No amount of editting was going to turn that footage into something interesting....
Why?
Because the story was: Here are some fireworks
That is not an interesting story.
If you had filmed people arriving, preparing food, fire, drinks then had some fireworks that would have been more interesting (but not much)
STORY
CAMERA ANGLES
LOTS OF EDITS
thats what maintains people's interest.
Hope that is useful. It is just my random thoughts (all intended to be useful)
