I remember that song from when I was kid!
Nice video Andy.
In the "Baxter's Day Out" style of things I thought this would be fun. It's the roadcrew from the band I'm working with (shot over the last six months) and is a sort of 'what the roadies actually do' kind of piece.
Roadies Days Out
I heard the song on the radio coming home on Sunday night and it just inspired me. Luckily, I had it in my collection. Don't ask me why, I'm odd like that. Some very strange things amongst my cds!

Cool video that. Looks like a really long day as well. All that effort for a couple of hours then you pack it all away again.

I'll give you that one Mr Lockwood. It's the most listened to station in the UK.
oh I've been there - reminds me of - oh 2 weeks ago
Superb
watched it til the end.
its amazing how much effot goes into these things-i do some sound in a production and on the get out day there is always about half of my stuff down there
What a cheery video - I know that song too - must be getting old.
Liked the lighthearted quirky nature of the movie.
What is the name of the band, and where were they playing?

Hi all and thanks for the comments so far.
Ian- It's a tribute to the late Billy Fury and is actually his original band (Fury's Tornados) with Colin Gold as Billy Fury. He is a guy who was on Stars in Their Eyes as Billy and did a superb job. He's uncannily like Bill except for being a bit of a chubber. It has been known to refer to him as Belly Fury

It was filmed over the last six months or so at various gigs (thats why the weather changes from sunny to pouring with rain in a couple of shots) but I think I managed to get over that normally a 'day' starts at about seven or eight and goes through until three or four the next morning.
The guys are a happy bunch and I think that came over too.
Who spotted me in it by the way?
