Hello everyone,
I have just got into video special effects as I wanted a new hobby
Got a cheap camcorder from ebay a couple of weeks ago and been learning adobe products everynight.
Here's my first video attempt. Not bad since I didn't know ANYTHING two weeks ago. http://www.glenharrison.com/starwars
Trying to learn green screening now. I'd like to put myself into a hollywood blockbuster

Hi Glen, welcome to the forum.
Not bad at all considering your newness to the world of editing and effects.
Personally I would ditch all the original movie footage when posting, save it for your own consumption. Most people will be interested in what you have done, not so much the THX trailer and TCF logo. At 40 plus mb it also makes it a big download for people to view and you want to hold their attention long enough to see what you have achieved.
The lightsaber was well done though, just not sure about the strange dance thingy :lol: Do you have to have watched Star Wars to know what that's all about?

I did wonder if there was something missing. But I also wondered if Mr. Lucas had introduced a Strictly Come Dancing scene in an effort to perk up the tired worn out old franchise that is Star Bores. :lol:

dude -well done but lose the front end - had to watch 2min30sec of intro on a 4min30 vid. That's over half of it. - I'm pretty muc repeating what Andy said.
