| |  2005 DD Video Contest: Lewis Morgan Progression Thread
Hey all,
I've got an idea for my red movie and thought i'd open a thread to show my working in getting it finshed.
So heres the plot:
SPOILERS!!
A family of 3 walk out of a restaurant; a baby is sat on the shoulders of the father walking normally next to his wife. The baby is holding a red balloon in one hand. Then suddenly, the clumsy baby lets go of the balloon. Letting it float to the sky. The baby starts crying. The father can never disappoint his little girl, to the right of the highflying balloon is a large building with an open roof. The father decides to pursue the balloon. He'll have to be fast for the balloon is already half way up the tall building. He sprints through the entrance of the building and runs up the forever climbing stairs. He reaches the top of the building and the balloon comes into sight, flying upwards in the wind. The father makes a running jump of the building and grabs the balloon. Of course, the helium cannot hold the fathers weight and he falls to the ground.
Bam!
The baby collects the balloon and the mum and daughter walk away...
Expect storyboards after my hoilday!

sounds interesting, i'd like to see you acomplish it. i hope the story will make more sense upon watching it.

Fantastic, No more explaining is needed.
Keep it simple, Let the viewer think :P
Whats the Color Scheme?
I think black and white with only the red balloon would be cool. Little Cliche probably, but would look good.

You just need access to a big building at off hours.
I think all the other scenes with little creativity would be pretty easy to shoot.

I think when the guy jumps off the building i'll need a bluescreen. Only problem is I don't have any decent editing programs to comp them togther.

Aloha!
Yes i'm back and tanned from holiday, although i've decided to cut my addmission in the race for the DD2005 'Red' Contest as I will be hard at work on the Holiday video (Which will have its premire on Digital Diretor).
