    Default Dark Skies - Lightning

There was a small thunderstorm over my house the other day so I filmed it.

Must admit I love thunderstorms some thing about them.
I love open fires too so I can see the flames.
I am not a arsonist by the way just the caveman in me I think.

    Well captured MB

I love watching lightning almost as much as I like watching the moon. This is not the best example of lightning I've ever seen. Florida is a great place for viewing lightning. For 10 years, I use to have to travel to Florida twice a year, just for a couple of week at a time, poor me.

Yet another interesting clip! I liked the lightning when it displayed for a long time (may I suppose the clip is slowed down at that point?).

@enc, the light on the trees against the dark sky is the reason I started filming. It was very interesting having the sun shining on the them for a while as the sky was getting darker. With the lightning being quite spars, it takes a bit of luck to be pointing the camera in the right place at the right time.

@Tim, You are correct in you supposition, I slowed down the lightning strike for a few extra frames as it only lasted one frame in reality.

Huh! And with a garden like you have! Hey Guys MB Has just given the game away. He's really a secret millionaire. I liked the cutaway to the pond and the slowed lightning effect is great. Nice job MB.

Me a millionaire, that's a good one. Perhaps at one time I was "comfortable" but that was before the bubble bust.

    Thanks for watching.

I thought I might find it mildly interesting. I was wrong. I loved it.
