I read all the comments, then scrolled up to watch the video in anticipation. "video removed by user". Such a tease.

Seeing as it's you Marc, I've put it back just for tonight but the group don't want it to stay, you even get to see the groovy titles version.Unlike the rest of them. Admin privilege.

Simply divine, darling. How did you hook up with the acting folk? For info, the sound appeared fine on an iPad in a room with no carpetThey'll love it.

Well they're not proper amateur luvvies then.
They should delight in as much exposure as they can get and shouldn't get all precious about it. (Of cousre there might be a copyright issue at stake here if they didn't pen it themselves.
Sticking it up here is one of the few outlets you get and seeing as this was a freebie they should be only too grateful.
I like it bettter now it's completed. Well done.
Tim
I've been friends with a couple who are in the group for years. They even roped me into being in one of the productions the other year.
I think they need to sell as many DVDs as they can to make up for the losses they made from putting on the play (not enough bums on seats) this time. So I don't mind if it helps them.
Did you notice the winking lady ? Another attempt at animation.![]()
i thought the footage was good, but i guess the echoing was to do with the building!
Thanks for viewing Ian, Yes the sound is to do with the building but I could have got the mic closer to the people and that would have made it better.
Nice interviews... they do sound a bit echoey. What mic were you using? Would it help to place a person you are interviewing in the corner of the room? I don't know that much about sound, I am just asking.
Thanks for viewing Derelict, I used a Sennheiser ME66 shotgun mic, which normally does a good job. The room was so small we were almost in all the corners at the same time. The real error was not getting the mic close enough which meant the mic picked up too much room sound in relation to the direct voice soundsI would say most of the time a bad recording is due to incorrect mic positioning. An other common problem is wind noise but as no one blew off during the interviews I didn't have that problem.
