To be absolutely honest I preferred Tim's interpretation (ie) more logical ......as mine was a bit over the top !!!

Ok, there is no storyline inside, I just shoot what I feel.

And in this video, it is not just being trapped on the treadmill of everyday life, unable to break free.
I think it is more like, we are trapped in this society, with all the rules that restict us, our teenagers are unable to break free. No one gonna listen to us, whenever we say sth different, the adult will say we are childish and rebellious.
Or in the society, when u are different, u will always be alone.

That's what i feel when i shoot this video.

Right ....trapped within society or imprisoned in a prison with no visible bars .(ie) imprisoned by unseen methods of control like money,debt,education,entertainment and herd mentality thinking.
(ie) sheep follow sheep. or people who think outside of the norm are kept in line by the majority who do follow the rules set by?????????

To be honest I think it's the same thing anyway. It's just expressed on a different level. If your trapped as a soul you are also trapped by society and vice versa. If you are trying to express being trapped in film try having the camera very close to the person so you don't have to use the zoom. This will create an intimate view of the person but keep the background more separated from the person, which will indicate a separateness from the surroundings. When you zoom in on a person you bring the background closer to the person this will create a more intimate feel.

Extreme close ups are even better where the person fills the screen and there is no background, this will express an intense loneliness as well as internalisation or inward thinking of the individual. The opposite of this is also true with a long shot of the individual at the wide end of the lens which creates a lot of space especially if the person is not interacting with the surroundings.
