Default I need to reduce the file size!

Hi

I've got a mpeg that i would like to post on this site to get a bit of feedback. THe problem is that the film clip is only 1 minute long but it is 18mb. Can anybody advise me on some FREE softwarethat i could download to reduce the file size. I used Purple Video Suite at uni to make the clip, but i now have Adobe Premiere Pro but I cannot figure out how the reduce the file size.

Leroy.

In Premiere Pro, import the clip and drop it into the timeline, then go File > Export > Adobe Media Encoder. Choose windows media as the format, then choose a preset and encode.

Alternatively, download and install Windows Media Encoder: http://www.marcpeters.co.uk/Windows-...Encoder-9.html

Or encode to DivX or Xvid.

Many thanks for that!!

I loved your Leeds Castle clip. I live near by in Canterbury. You may be able to spot the Canterbury Cathdral in the distance in my clip that I'll post here very soon.
