In general I think it's a lot better, a few of the shots that never worked for me before, that you have kept, work better here.

The music works for me as it's a good balance that shouldn't offend anyones ears regardless of their music tastes. I seen Andy mentioned smart sound, but I'm not sure if you used something of your own. If it is a (multi-track) quick track there's a little change I'd make.

At 1:12 there's a prominent instrument/happening (I'm not great with whats going on with music terms) that fades away, comes back for a short time, fades away again at around 1:27 then back at 1:29. I'd keep it totally away between 1:12 and 1:29. If this is possible I think it could work well.

Introducing more shots before the introduction of people works better.

I'm still not a fan of the bird feeder shot, but now it doesn't change the pace of the edit, so it works better.

I think the splash after the icicle works better in this edit. I'd put it down to the movement in the title acting as a transitioning action between the shots.

And the shot between the ECU (eyes) and the church group works better now. I had a problem with this before as I felt it never worked, but knew it should be there.

The movement in your titles make a big difference, it's up to you of course, but I'd see how they look coming on screen bottom left, or right, rather than dead centre.

    David.

You probably know as much as me.

David, I can't take away that sound, so now it will be forever there to irritate us both.

By the way what is it about the Bird feeder shot you don't like, I thought it showed some good editing. The eyes and church shot probably work now because I lined the eyes up with the carvings in the church shot.

    Thank you guys.

That's a shame about the sound. I think the bird shot is just too jumpy, I had a quick think and maybe scaling it up a little on each jump, adding some sort of enhancement or if there was a beat to the music or sound effect I would prefer it. Maybe even a combination.

I had a look back at both your church cuts, I never noticed you'd made the alignment change, so it worked.

    David.

Don't touch the bird feeder Midnight!

It's just right. A nice shot which shows something a little bit different.

The second one Rocks! - Way way WAY better - wow - can't believe the transformation you've achieved there.

I'd be willing to talk to you about work on the back of that... It sells you. Job Done.

Hated the music for the second one - but it's right for the job. (And I can never find the right music for my stuff anyway so who m I to talk?)
The edit is much better. Much much better.
    Well worth the extra time.

Is it just the music change that makes it seem better, most of the clips are in the original. The first couple of clips where taken out because Mrs M didn't like the cobweb on the plant and then the next clip the plant was nearly dead.

No. It's the sequencing as well.
After the MB ident & fireworks, there are four shots - not in the original - showing logos and immediately shouting "corporate video" and "advertising". You're going bang in there with a message. The second set - the Try Dive could do with some logos as well, but it doesn't matter so much as the message has already been got across - you can do corporate vids. So it continues. You've dropped all the technically poorer bits and this just seems much more polished.
