Default Muzzle Flash

I used adobe premiere for the muzzle flash. I found a set of 3 jpegs from the internet. Each was different. The first looked like it had just came out of the barrel, the second look like it extended out and the last frame looked like it was going back into the barrel. That way it plays fast and it appears that the fire is coming out and going back into the barrel. I used Chromakey to get rid of the black background that was behind the fire picture.

What I mean by putting red blood was to digitally retouch the blood so it appears red on a black and white movie. I find that it add alot of punch.

Only my opinion
Maybe you'll find it too cheesy.

Yeah I thought about making the blood red in photoshop, but I just assumed it would be too hard and I am lazy. If you want to send me a video clip I can try to add some flash to it. My AIM name is BikeAndOrDestroy

OK coming in on this thread cold. But I do remember the original and I think this is a change for the better.

I think it's agreat effort and exactly fits my own personal genre I aim for.

How did you do the slow mo though? What s/w did you use? It's something I want to do in my next effort, the slow down and speed back up to normal - just for a second or two. I'm still struggling with the best way of doing it after a few tests. I want to take a second of 'action' (so movement may be quite fast) and slow it down for emphasis.

I loved the idea of the pressure spary for the blood. I might just steal that idea

If you are using Adobe Premiere, just cut the section you want to be slower with the razor tool and than right clic on this section, select Speed/Duration. Choose the speed you want it to be.

Dont forget to put what's following in another track or move it a little bit or you won't get your full slowed down sequence.
