Comments please, EXCEPT- I know its over exposed. My pride and joy Sony died the day before the gig, and I had to borrow a cheap Mini DV cam from a friend.

I'd like to see a comparison with no crane footage.
At the end of the day, could you have acheived the same shots at the same shoot without the crane? There's no real "money shot" in there (but there are a few close up pans that looked good)...

I couldn`t have got the close ups without standing in front of the singers. A bit poor for the audience.
The crane allowed me to get up their noses. Well, almost.
Ive discovered that the crane was still jerkyish on the tilt, but it was too late to rectify on the night.
A handful of nylon washers later, problem solved.
Oh well, welive and learn...........

No worries. Criticism is always useful.
I`m just rerendering the crappy RM file I uploaded the other day.
The is a wonderful `money shot` or two in there. Very Robbie Williams straight up at the camera.

Yeah, very prof.
Was it filmed at the same venue? On the same night? I think their sound balance needed some medication.
(At first, I thought the bassist was struggling to keep up - but it's not that, it's more like it's all out of phase.)

Both bands, same venue, same night. You`re right on the sound part. I am still waiting for a 5 track mix from the sound engineer (who had a 24 track digital recorder) to produce a crisp, clear, 5.1 mix.
I am surprised no one else commented on that!

Ok, new one edited and posted. Vince Eager (50s rocker from the Larry Parnes stable of singers like Billy Fury etc) and Rockola doing a medley of Elvis stuff. http://home.btconnect.com/oro9/68special.wmv
(If you like Vince, he has a site at www.vinceeager.co.uk)
