This is how far I've gone with the project. it's basically a rough draft. Please tell me if the noises go or not. My brother likes it so far, I'm still think of mixing in more sound effects and trim it to make it flow smoothly. |

That is 10 x better than your first effort. I can see you have really put some effort into it. I liked it. I like the humour when the truck got stuck and the first effort to get it out didn't work.
Make sure the sounds don't just stop for no reason. I presume the engine noise you had only lasted so long compared to the length of the shot. You could always copy and past another length of engine noise until the clip finished.
Keep at it. You've already improve 10 fold.

Thanks I'll keep updating the video by editing and messing around with the sound affects. It took me 2 weeks to edit the video it self with out the sound. another 3 or 4 days to mix in the sound. I'm going to keep the video in my hands in till i think it's finished do i think it will take me 5-10 days to finish. |

Don't worry about that. Sound is at least 50% of what movie making is all about. Some directors put it as high as 70%. It's right that you should take time over it.

Is there any way you could record a real engine. A car engine just on tickover so that the track lasts as long as you need. Then you could raise or lower the volume and perhaps lower the pitch a little. That may well produce a much better result than using a short sound clip repeatedly.
Good luck |

No i don't have a way to record any type audio i don't have the devices. I don't even have a audio editor. But i considered that and looked on the web and found a lot of AVS branded editors for audio and every thing i would need to do basically every thing that is photo/video/audio/dvd. I don't know how good those are but i would like to know if anybody knows what this brand is.

Hang on a minute. You have a video camera use that to record the sound, then drop the video out and just use the sound clip.
