| | Zi8 goes shopping
Just more jerking around with the Zi8!! H264 72mb (Right click Save As) WM 10mb (crappy)
It keeps catching me out on the focus, the screen looks sharp but the focus appears to be from 6ft to infinity rather than 1m as I'm sure I read somewhere.
More practice required!!

I bet your local ASDA loves you. lol
I knew there had to be a flaw in this otherwise great little camera. Close up fast motion blurs. There, you should have bought a £5,000 camera.
Seriously great little movie but how long will your wifes patience last

Sorry for the slow reply, have had limited time and web access.
it's a great fun little camera and yes Julie thinks I'm nuts, but shes used to that now!
It amazes me how making a video in public still attracts attention considering the amount cheap cameras, camera phones, etc on the market.
Thats enough fun for now, work continues...

Oh, don't I know that look at 19 seconds!
Nice shots, shows what works and what doesn't.
Bloody impressive for £139. Brilliant idea from Kodak, now my problem is how to get one without the missus noticing...

I really didn't want to get into another expensive hobby, I've easily spent close to £10,000 on my 'little' studio, but I just got one of these along with Sony Vegas Movie Studio Pro 9
Download the latest firmware 1.06, it makes the zoom feature less jerky.
I read somewhere online that fast motion needs to be recorded in 720/60 (I think that's what it was )
Also you may want to take a look at New firmware for Zi8 is out! - Kodak HD forum on Vimeo
P.S. £119 from ebuyer

Are you sure it wasn't because you were wearing your pyjamas?
(Topical news reference for those outside the UK BBC News - Tesco ban on shoppers in pyjamas)

At least he gets a resigned smile. I just get "the frown of fury" - could that be a title for a horror movie?

Lols - I saw that - funny. We get lots of activist attention seeking things in shops round here - they are twitchy.
