Default Another (Small) Skateboard Video From Me

Unlike my other skate video's (that I've posted here), this one is real short. The footage is just some of what I filmed at 6 this evening, and I got home and edited it for my friends.

It's nothing super, but let me know what you think (editing-wise).

Well, it would have been if it rolled .

We're going to go back up there tonight with a few spare decks to do it again and get some more tricks, maybe a Varial Heel too.

cool, Is that the Smiths on there? I always thought that tune would be good on a skate video.

Which wide-angle lens are you using? Is it a raynox?

Also, why not shoot the wide-angle bit from the other side of the steps, then the light will be behind the camera and it'll look nicer when you (hopefully) roll away.

Yepp, thats the Smiths. I'm using a 0.3x raynox yes, how'd you know that?

Yeah, we shot that again from the other side today. Looks alot better!

(and nah thats not me, I filmed it)

good. The smiths are under-represented in skate-videos.

I have a 0.3X and a 0.5X Raynox lens myself, for water-footage, I just guessed (<£30 versus £xxx for a Century mini death lens!!?). sometimes I turn my 0.3X around and tape it to my cam' to get a slightly more extreme fish-eye with a vignette effect, I think it looks cool for skating.

But what we are all thinking is: did the guy stick the BS flip??

or the varial Heel!!?

Oh? Might give that a go.

Yeah, the Smiths aren't used much. I know they're used in PJ Ladd's, and Really Sorry but I think that's it?

Nah it wasn't rolled today, or the Varial Heel. So far the only flip rolled from it was a kickfilp, but we've also got switch ollie, switch fs 180, nollie, nollie 180, fs 180, and bs 180.

Yeah, "Panic" is on PJ Ladds, but I don't think "this charming man" is on any skate vid', although it does appear on the all-time classic bodyboarding video "Boogie Knights", on the Ross McBride Section.

Good effort. I couldn't do any of that. ollie maybe, but switch or nollie? far too much practicing involved. Surfing is far more forgiving.

Get him to switch backside 180 it, it's an easy trick, and it looks good. I do agree though, that is a good looking backside flip. Is he a pretty good skater overall?
