Well it was my middle daughter's 21st this year. I have some wonderful footage of her playing the keyboard when she was about 11 or 12. However at over 40 seconds the scene was simply to much to include in her 21st movie in its own right. So I thought I would turn it into a title sequence.
Right click the link below and Save target as etc http://www.purejammy.digital-directo...araTitle-1.wmv
Enjoy

I really like this Robin. Very impressive. However, I'd like to see the video still image at a lot less severe angle.
The text effect works really well. Would you be able to explain to our readers how you achieved this? I'd like to see this closer to the video though - personally I think it's too far away and is quite close to the safe area, isn't it?

Oddly enough the angle of the movie frame doesn't look quite as severe on a 28" Widescreen TV. Although you are quite right about the text, it is just within the safe area for TV viewing.
The text effect is one of the standard 'drop' effects from Ulead Mediastudio v7. Looking back at this I think you are right that it looks just a little too divorced from the image. So if I was doing the title again I would probably make the text a bit bigger and move to the left a little.
The same drop effect could be achieved with any moving path. Although to get it the same as this you would have to move each letter indiviudally. A lot of work but perfectly feasible though.

I thought the same about the acuteness of the angle but really liked what you have done there.
Nice

Yeah, the angle does look a bit weird - it's quite hard to see what's going on.

How much did you edit the music? At first I though it was an excellent find to add to the music, but it quickly became apparent that it was the actual sound from your daughter's keyboard! Did you distort it in anyway? If you didn't, I suggest yopu say you did to impress me!

Well the original footage is about 10 years old and sourced from VHS tape via a Video 8 original. In short the keyboard sound was in Mono, so I did add a noise reduction filter (because of original source) and added just a small stadium effect.
In other words I added these effects just to impress the Webmaster!
