Oilmanrich, so when you wrote the following response to criticism of your short film 'School's out,' 'we weren't planning on filming anything that day, i just happen to have my camera and came up with that idea, so i didn't have a tripod at the time,' you weren't being defensive, is that it?
When somebody else responds to criticism it's being defensive, but when you do it it isn't being defensive, right?
By the way, it isn't 'one of those people are me, as you have written, it's 'one of those people is me.'
Hope this helps!
Naturally, people are going to respond to criticism, and as long as they don't respond by quitting the forum and never returning I don't see that it does any harm. I won't be doing this, you'll be glad to know(!)
As an aside, these responses to criticism actually help the forum, by providing fresh content, which the search engine spiders like.
I've absorbed all of the comments about the idea of using words on screen, thanks to all who contributed, including Oilmanrich, and will still experiment with it.
