Default Mini doc, please rate & comment! (canon hv30)

Here's a little profile documentary of a friend of mine tht i shot mostly last summer with my new HV30. The quality came out really good, props to canon for making such a good camcorder with amazing latitude for it's price. Dont forget to watch in HD!

I really liked this. Very nicely shot, thoughtful angles, vibrant colour, human interest, not over top in the FX department. All in all a very nice little film. Very probably a contender for our Video Of The Month competition.

That is the most impressive dross I have seen on youtube for a very long time, 5 stars #####, and this is my comment.

Well done.

Wow - VTOM anyone ? Gotta be a fav contendor.

Just about perfect and it helps that you are super model pretty too

I love that shot with the rolling convertor. That wide convertor was the weakest bit of the film but the poor quality of the wide shots didnt spiil the film but a better one would be money well spent.

The x rays were a geneius idea.

This is exactly how a dangerous sport vid should be made. Favourited.

Thanks for a great film.

I have to say the hv30 produces great results but the shots can be very bright and saturated - perhaps too much?? At times hv30 video can look a bit cartoony due to this. A small and moot point. And that look is cool for this video.

For me its the video of the year, going to be very hard to beat this stunner.

Wondering how well its going on noobtube, considering good video is generally snubbed there.

Very stylish. I liked the vibrant colours - the "Magic hour" summer evening look (produced by the HV30 or added in post?)
Concur with everything Mark says above re rolling converter, and xrays but especially about the W/A shots. The film deserved better.

Excellent video.

I liked the style, the commentary and the music. All well balanced and fitting together. The acrobatics were great and the film-making showed them off well, giving us some time-lapse and fun images as breaks from the tumbling.Nice. Definitely VOTM material. More to the point, an excellent video to show as a reply to all those mediocre BMX/Skateboarding/lampost-climbing vids we get here... This is how you do it boys.

It would be churlish to find some points to criticise and any comments would be like pointing out a missed comma in a Kipling prose (the writer, not the baker).
