| | Hi energy Zombie edit.
Same raw material as my other but very heavily edited.
This film is brought to you by hi sats high and low sats low (mostly), a very steep gamma, improper use of colour correction tools and flicker from misfire.
Tell the truth I am much more comfortable editing like this. I am pleased with this. http://www.zaskarfilms.com/Films/zom3tube2m.wmv ( looks much nicer than tube veriosn)

Yeah, that's the sort of thing. Nice one!
BTW is the stuttering effect also part of MB Misfire or did you painstakingly do that yourself?

Only the flicker was misfire. The stuttering is done by dropping the frame rate and turning off smart resample for those bits. ( clearly it was on for the slo mo tho)

This was the first time i have tried low f rate and mega flicker at the same time - I like the effect of the both together, for zombie vids at least.

Impressive edit considering we have seen the raw material, I did notice a transmission break look about 3/4 in, was that a custom effect, the effects tied in with the music.
It really brought the zombies out away from their surrounding enviroment.
How long did it take you to pull that edit off, looks like a long days work to me.

Glad you liked.
Transmission break ? ? I think you mean where there is a huge dropout - that was where the tape broke in the camera during capture, fixed it with sticky tape. Funny that should happen on this edit, clearly something akin to the curse of tutankamoon.
10 hours work roughly.

yep, looked just like a tape break, it worked for me.
I was pretty close to the money on the time required to edit, even though I don't use Vegas.

It was great to see what you did with it having seen the original footage. Zombie funk - I like it. The bit with the balloon floating away at the end was strangely emotional!

What made you zoom in on the stills at around 40 seconds in? Not sure the background worked. When combined with the absence of amibient sound, this section was a weak link for me.
Very watchable.
