As you've posted in this section, I can only assume you're looking for a critique.
What makes your video different from thousands of other video blogs posted on the internet? You're talking into a poorly framed, static camera with equally poor lighting and sound. You talk in rather mumbled fashion and it's hard to understand what you're saying.
There's a few elementary camera techniques you should employ to make you video stand out. Try filming some cut aways at different angles and avoid simply filming everything on one long take for example.
As it stands, I certainly wouldn't come back for more. |

1) Stop.... playing computer games and making videos about computer games on the computer you just played games on and edited this on so you could watch yourself on your computer talking about computer games.... (repeat untill fat and forty)
2) Loose your dads shades. (eyes are windows to the soul and an entertainers most powerful asset)
3) Give the hat back to your 7 year old brother. (it might look cool on him)
4) Meet more girls. ( that is what your joystick is for)
5) Eat more wholesome food. ( you look pale)

The gimmick idea didnt work for me, and like I said hiding your eyes and a large part of your face stops you communicating well with the audience.
Your 14 - are you asking for gentle treatemnt? That aint going to help you out is it ?
Its great that you are keen but dont fall into the trap that many film makers make imho, and put your ego above your film.
If you are just going to film yourself then it has to be VERY good or it will not move people.

ok fair enough i put 14 to justify my reasoning for my previous topicsthe whole hat and glasses thing i was kinda shaky on but i'm going to continue with it for the moment to see how it goes.not totally sure what you meant when you said dont put you ego in front of you film but you probaly meant dont be afraid to change things up? in my next vid i'm going to be filming in different locations i hope that helps.ty for the critique | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes |  Linear Mode |
