Dom, I did get the feeling that you wanted to use EVERY effect you've learned (and mastered ) so far. In that respect, there wasn't much continuity. If it was a showreel, I'd say emphasise the effects MORE (maybe shorter bursts of each "scene").

You've definately got the camera technique on a board down to a tee, but you do get an excess amount of noice from the wheels. Have you tried reducing this?

Gotta say I like your videos though

Thanks Gwenny, and Marc.

I did want to use alot of effects in that one.. I don't think I went too over the top with the effects, but there was definatly alot in there..

About the wheels Marc, do you mean the sound from my wheels when I'm filming lines and skating along? When I filmed that I had really poor wheels on, and my bearings were falling apart and really dirty.. The noise could be reduced with a better, new set of wheels and bearings, which I've got now..

If you were to watch a newer pro skate video thats out Marc, the filmer is literally silent. However, I can't afford new wheels each week

Thanks for the feedback everyone!

At first, I thoguht the effects were very good. The I next noticed how many there were then later they possitively got on my nerves.

Individualy they were all really quite good although the red filter didn't do anything for me personally.

just too many of them for that proffessional look is all.

Good video though. I enjoyed it.

So then. how many new decks do you guys have to buy a week?

Downloaded it and enjoyed it. Not a skater myself, but it was still fun to watch!

There are a little too many special effects maybe. There's nothing wrong with any of them on their own, I quite like all of them, It's just that there are too many.

But, it was well put together, not too long, and not too self-indulgent.
