Excellent effort which worked primarily because of absolutely superb choice & editing of music. It built suspense, tension and made us jump where we were meant to.

Reasonably well acted and dialog not overdone (the swearing didn't add anything so I'd suggest you replace that so as to be more "inclusive" in your potential audience)

But again I come back to the music. If proof were needed that sound accounts for 70% of the video and visuals only 30% this film is it. The dialog is actually superfluous as the pictures, foley and music tell it all. Keep the screams though

Where did the music come from and why wasn't it credited? I really hope you're going to say you or a colleague wrote it, or (even better so I can get it) it's from some sound library somewhere. If you've ripped it off (ie it's from a soundtrack album) I suspect if you showed this to budding composers you'd find someone keen to collaborate either on this or future projects.

Good luck and thanks for sharing.

Oh, and I meant to say, great opening title, too.

Great job. The sfx and video fx were impressive. The camera work was also very well done, however, there were a couple shots at the beginning that I felt weren't framed as well as they could be.

I agree with the above on the swearing. I swear more than anyone, but it felt kind of out of place there. Swearing for swearing's sake, if you catch my drift.

What were the bugs created with?

Thanks for the comments guys. The sfx and intro was created with after effects... Such a powerful tool. The music was everything. The slow piano to build up the suspense was me, a lot of the others was used from garage band but those are royalty free and up for grabs. I did use the psycho movie music for the end part.

Good work. The music choice and effects were very well done.

Have you been watching Videocopilot tutorials lately, by the way? :P

that is so good, great job!!

The only critique i really have is maybe a bit more back story if possible...I know its just a short shocker to creep people out...but a small explanation of what they were exactly and the opening plot was a bit odd...but still i am really reaching cuz i wanted to give u some criticism...all in all great job!!!

You've clearly got a good ear for what's required. Don't think I can justify a Mac at the moment so I'll have to make do with Cinescore and Acid.

I use Vegas myself. My reference to Mac was you said you used Garage Band which as far as I'm aware is Mac only???
