I didnīt like the movie at all...
Seems to be only a try and, in this perspective, itīs a nice try.
But it sounds like "hey, look what I learnt in Kramerīs site!"
You built the movie just to use the effects! (It seems so.)
Nice experience. Bad movie.
And it reminds me a hollywood crap movie like "Scream".
Thereīs no end and the shots are all simple, like soap operaīs shot.
The music is as well used as in hollywood movies, so itīs shit!
But defenitively a nice experience!
Iīd suggest now something more elaborated in all senses.
Better script, better acting, better music, but use of FX...

Thatīs it...

u nailed it, thats exactly what i did, had to make a horror skit from a given random topic (putting shoes/socks on) and I thought of the effect and said hey let me build around that.

people can complain about a mac's expensiveness all they want, it still doesn't hide the fact they are better.

haha, i may be a little bit biased because i only use macs, and i do all my editing with imovie, not the new one, the old one.

but anyways, aside from continuing a war that doesn't need to be discussed right now, i think the movie was great. people might complain about the whole plot being based around one special effect, but most times, the viewer won't most likely care about that factor. they might care about the acting and such, which i thought was great contrary to most people.

anyways, good job!

A few point about your video, I would have added some more details to the title sequence, at the moment it's just a single word floating on a black background, you should have put your name or Nel Productions on at the start aswell or a combination of all the words. At 0.53 there is a very dark shot and I can't make out what it's supposed to be, there are a few other strange dark shots with grey bits running along the bottom of the screen throughout the video and they need to be taken out as they add nothing to the narrative and just confuse the viewer. The sound goes very low at 2.29 and again at 3.07 when the other girl goes to look for her friend. Reasonably good cutting on action, the effect you used was well done, although I would have preferred to have seen the girl on the floor with a half eaten head, as time had passed since the 'creatures' invaded her body.

sound editing was as close to perfect as you can get

acting was great

i think you could have done without the foul language

bug effects were good

i wish there could have been more story to why the bugs were there, or why she needed that book in the first place.

but i give it a 5/5
great job!!
