I re-encoded your original video from MPEG4 (interlaced, 477kb/s video bitrate at 720x480 and 15 fps) with uncompressed PCM audio to WMV9 (progressive, approx combined video and audio bitrate of 600 352x288 25fps).

So WMV9 is your answer

Default thanks

Thanks I do have WMV9 - I think I have downloaded and installed other codecs recently though - I bet I replaced something with an older codec by accident

I had been wondering this for a while - this confirms it - thanks again

Really enjoyed the clip and it has convinced me I need to have a go myself. You said you learned everything from this forum but where exactly?

I want to steal your idea of a light saber on a member of the family, but can't find how to do it.

Thanks - and as Marc says it is a matter of learning the right terms to ask the right questions. The word I needed to learn was rotoscoping.

does anyone out there no how to rotoscope beaming like in star trek? - any links?
