Default Car Door Surfing: A Documentary

Hi there. I stumbled across a few DV tapes of old 4x4 footage from back in my highschool days. Well, i thought i'd try to make something good out of it but all i came up with is this:

http://www.boredom-induced.com/vids/documentary.wmv

Please, leave any and all comments.

~Boner Jones

p.s. We have a ton of videos on our own site, i'll probably post s'more later.

That was great fun! Loved it. A tremendous memory of your day of fun whcih is what makign this type of film is all about after all.

If I had to critique though (and I will ) then I would offer two points...

1) I'm not personally a fan of stating the death of someone when they haven't actually died (just me I guess). Except fish of course ; and

2) One of the fish captions disappeared before i had chance to read it all. Had to pause and 'rewind' to read it all.

Best bit for me was the professional enthusiast. Laughed out loud at that.

Now *that's* the kinda thing I wanna see in the competition Guy's, with bucket loads of footage, a few moments of thought and putting into pratice your mastery of video editing, you'll have a video to enter.

So... get out those DV tapes, get registerd and get editing

Okay, I'll quit buggging youy guys for a few days now!

Liking your work there Boner - like the bit at the end...

Thanks guys, i appretiate the comments. My british accent does suck, but hell, it wouldn't of really worked with a "stupid teenager" accent that i use regularly.

Well, here's another one if you feel like killing another few minutes on my garbage. This was made for an online "music video contest", where you had to pick a song from a pre-determined list and film a music video with it. This is what we came up with.

songanger is Go! by Powerman 5000

This video was filmed completely at random and edited with adobe premeire 6.0, titles added with pinnacle studio 8.

A suspiciously similar theme to another competition I know

Anyway. Not really my style of music but couldn't really fault what you had doen with it. Great interpretation and timing to the footage and editing.

Couldn't help but chuckle at the two dudes jumping up and down on those block in the long grass shot. Speeded up like that it reminded me of watching the 'Banana Splits' as a kid
