Question about Power director NE express

I just got my first Hard drive camera JVC. And I got Power director NE express. I like the program but it does not have a spot to edit your clips in slow motion or fast motion....it only has titles and transations. Is there a download that will help me with this that I am missing or Do I have to buy the 89 dollar program...HELP!!! thanks

P.S. what would solve my problem if I could use the videos on this camera directly into Windows Movie maker......thanks guys
