I would agree with luke on this one. Except i would use some fast heavy metal music (Sorry not into that music and can't stand club mix noise).
Didn't watch it all because i lost interest after about 2 minutes due to the same camera angle etc.
Personally i would take on board what people have said and redue the editing and music. For a start i would aim to chop the whole thing in two. Add some fast music (Please not CLUB MIX) and repost;. Try some colour correction and maybe look at some visual changes, what i mean by that is if you have to use the same angle shot 1 don't put them back to back and 2 try and use a glow or special effect to change it so that it looks more interesting.

Thanks for the comments. All appreciated!

The reason for the lack of angles was that I wasn't authorised to go to other parts of the track (see no other spectators only marshalls in those places).

Not sure I agree with the music thing (heavy metal a bit done to death?) but I accept those views nevertheless. Thanks.

I agree with some of the other comments that the slow motion was not congruent with the subject matter. I think the opening would have been stronger if you started with one of the cars racing around a corner out of control. Something quick and abrupt would have grabbed my attention.

Default just some litle tips

I have watched the video, and like others have said it is too long, very boring, and to be honest needs to be much tighter in many ways.

Here are some easy suggestions on making videos like these more interesting.

The size of the car in frame has to be bigger, even if it is a distance away, or when you edit cut into the car when it is a larger thing to view.

There are little or no cut aways, shoot other shots of people watching the cars, even someones face as they watch the action, shoot between people, give the video a feel as if others are interested.

Shoot different angles, get down low, dutch tilt, do anything to get away from all that straight up and down stuff I just watched.

Add some zing to the video, it needs colour correcting, get some chroma going, bring out the colours of the day, try to steer clear of slow motion stuff, if anything just speed up the video a little, say 10%, it will give selected shots much more impact.

Well what would I know, I just work with potato heads and very small trains..!

Leo.

Yeah sorry, I got bored too.

There are some good and interesting shots in there, but like the others said, some of them get a little samey after a while.

Thing is, it's not a wedding video, so it doesn't need to be linear, mix up the cars a bit more, add faster music, and concentrate on the interesting shots and action. I don't want to see seven cars go around the same corner in the same way. keep it varied.

Also slow mo' is ok sometimes, but i'd preffer it to be smoothed out a bit with frame blending. I don't like watching the frame change every second. (but that's just personal prefference).
