Hey Jack. Great stuff! What a shame about the mic problem at the end though!

A couple of things that I thought needed addressing.....

Switch off your autofocus and do it manually. As the guy goes down the stairs, the focus switches to the banister rails. Picky I know, but noticeable I thought.

I would lift the contrast a snatch along with the colour. I looks a tiny bit washed out. Don't know what you edited it with, but it just needs a bit more colour and vibrancy.

Sound. I can see exactly what you were doing with the music switches, but the cuts needed to be a snatch tighter I think. The Guru might give you a tip or two with mic sound, he's our resident expert now....

Overall.... great effort indeed! Love the swallowing bit and without giving the end away, I thought the rest of that part was really well done.

Keep at it man, great stuff!

(Oh, and take your shoes off before you go upstairs! )

Nice effort Jack! I bet you guys learnt a lot making this.

I would suggest that you take a hard look at it yourselves. Imagine it was made by your worst enemy and pick out the faults. Self-criticism is the hardest part of video making.

I liked the idea that each character has their own music, but you need to have other sounds as well. Just music, without the normal day-to-day noises of the door opening and such, makes it appear "dry". Also I found the sound transitions a bit brutal.

That buzz on the audio shouldn't be there! It sounds like you used a microphone in a line input and then whacked up the gain, or the level was too low to start with.

thanks alot guys.

im not even sure what happened with the mic sound i captured the sound like i always do and it usually sounds perfectly fine but with this when i captured i got a really loud reptitive humming staticy noise, i set the wave settings to just come out of the left speaker as the right didnt work which created a quiter humming noise and louder sound from the video. ill just have to mess about with it.

really thanks alot ill work on your points for a next video

Great stuff. If you check out Mark Ws tutorial HERE you'll see how to bring up the look of your movies. I use Vegas too, so any help needed, just ask.

Creative & entertaining, that’s pretty much what it’s all about. Good little story, too – well done. It’s got a sort of ‘cult’ feel to it. I hope you do more and post them here.

Being gurus "Right hand audio man" A few more audio points- A sound effect for your explosion at the end is really needed, Frighten the life out of us, This Trapcode demo explosion thingy uses sound effects to make a dull thing brought to life. Try watching it without sound, then with sound and you will see where I am coming from. As for the mic, Were you using a internal one? Because to me it sounds like a jack plug not correctly plugged in, But also check your gain and levels. Also maybe a over dub on the toilet guitar as we really can't hear that. Hope my points help.
