0 Videos nominated Video Of the Month(s): 0 | | I'm sorry for being creative.
I am sick and tired of this. why is bashing my work so important to you people?
I do not want to argue with anyone about something so shrill, pointless, and stupid as the "hidden" meaning behind an obviously "neo-nazi" promotion video.
If this is how my effort will be received from this group of people, then I will stick to mocking and finding hidden meanings behind everyone else's films.

What is your problem?
You've posted a link to a video on this forum. A forum dedicated to video editing. A few experienced video editors have pointed out that your effort ain't all that brilliant, in fact, has a lot of failings which you didn't see.
Now you're throwing your toys out of the pram, just because we didn't hail you as the great editing master.
If you look, you'll see that we praise people who deserve it and criticise those who haven't quite got it yet. We encourage those who make their own videos, shoot their own footage or compose their own music. We also positively welcome creative and innovative editing, it's why this site exists.
If you aren't willing to accept criticism, then don't show your work to people who have seen it all before. As for you mocking other people's films, until you produce something worthy of praise, or learn to accept criticism yourself, you'll find that nobody will take your comments seriously.
Take the criticism, think about it and perhaps notice that many, many people are pointing out what you've done wrong, and you're the only one who can't see it. Maybe you're the one who doesn't get it?

lol dude, you posted the video then demanded some feedback. That is exactly what you got, dont moan about it! The 2 main people who commented on it are highly experienced video producers so you should be grateful they took the time to watch it. Personally i didn't bother because of their comments. The point is dont get an arse ache if people dont like your videos or people give you some valid criticisms! |

It's not that I can't take critiscism, it's that these "highly experienced video producers" are conjuring- out of thin air, mind you; I never said it had to have a point-, alternate meanings and hidden messages that i never intended to put forth. I do realize that there are a lot of inferences to be made with a video of his nature (WWII, Nazis, Right wing Germans) but that is all they are- inferences.
I,-- believe it or not --, just made the video. Period. No message, no agenda. Just a random idea that had no point when i created it.
There. i have said my piece in defense of conservatism, so i will no longer argue about this. If you would like to add a comment about the structure or editing of the video in question, then by all means do so. But if you would like to attack my "inability to take criticism", please take your complaints elsewhere.
This is amateur hour.

And I wonder who the amateur is!!!! Oh right its you cause you are the student! Let me give you a bit of free advice. If you want to succeed in the media industry you really are gonna have to learn hot to take criticism on the chin. Unless by the grace of God you have been given an incredible talent for this stuff you wont get anywhere until you do. Your reactions with in this forum are the proof.
This forum is very community based! when we get to know eachother on here we do actually care about what people are up to. My comments to you are in the hope that you may change your attitudes and reactions because as i already suggested. If you carry on like this in the real world, you just wont get anywhere. I aint trying to annoy or upset you dude. We are here to help be it in creative, technical, business and even personal matters to do with Video.

I Just watched the video - I'm afraid to say it was a lil dull but only because I've seen a ton of these types of videos before. I couldnt tell if it was a bad encoding job, dodgy playback through google or whether it was an edit style you used that made the playback very jerky.
I think you could get more creative with your cuts. Cut things tighter and get some pace going to it. The vidoe ambles along rather than snapping along with the music. - All that said - Good effort.

What you should learn from this is that video is a powerful and unpredictable medium, it can communicate on a variety of levels, different people will see different things. As a producer of videos you need to be one step ahead of the audience and really think about what you want to say, and what people think you might be saying.
I am not arguing for self censorship, rather self awareness and an awareness of the audience and of the messages you may inadvertantly be producing.
In this case you failed to see the rather obvious effect of linking music / video producing an unintended and rather offensive message. Understanding this effect and then using it with some thought can give any video real impact.

It's not google, or my editing style-- its that Fraps does not capture video well, so it is very jerky. I have tried various ways to get good quality with DVDecrypter and similar programs, but th bottom line is that they take forever....
I think if I had better quality raw video, the speed and efficiency of the video would pick up. S, until I have five hours to spare to convert the movie into a format i can use, this is as good as it gets
And where have you seen these types of videos before? I have never seen anything even similar to my video.
