| | Ode to Kubrick - Open to review Hello! - Here is a short experimental music video to accompany a song I wrote. It is an ode to H.A.L. from Stanley Kubricks 2001.To create this I used internet nasa clips and composited them in FCP to look like monitors. I created the hal computer eye and interface in photoshop, then added the video overlay. This video is pretty avant-garde. I know this may not appeal to most of you, but thought I would throw it up for review. Let me know what you think. Watch Version 1 http://www.mindsnare.com/asx_ram/hal.asx Thanks for your time. | | I really liked it. My only (minor) criticism is that on some of the multiscreen shots, the edges of the screens go outside the cache. Nice work tho' |

| | Hello, Thanks for the nice comments. I was going to make a wider shot showing 8 monitors, but never got around to it. This was really just a test to see what I could do with compositing that got out of hand. If left up to my own devices, I could edit this to the cows came home, they put them to work at an edit bay as well Thanks Sean Fleck

| | Well that definitely appealed to me. Great use of found video. I love 2001 and I thought that vidoe with your music really captured the vibe of HAL.
Ace. Thanks.
