Nero 6 Ultra Edition is what I use for quick and easy. The Nero 7 is buggered, so I can't recommend it, yet.
No matter what you use, there will be a learning curve. DVD creation is probably the worst headache you face. Plenty of video programs say they can do it easy, but the majority of people have poor luck with them. Either the authoring is goofy or the actual DVD burn is broken. After I learned the ins and outs of Nero, I've had uniformly good luck. I use it for all burns, even when I use DVD-LAB for authoring.
